A deposit is due at the time of reservation, averaging 25% -50% of total estimate. For new reservations made under 30 days from arrival, 100% of payment is required.
Check in time is 3 pm Off and Mid Seasons, 4 PM In and Peak Seasons.
Check out is 10 am. Late checkout and early check in fees apply and must be approved in advance.
While we love dogs, our side-by-side cabins are not conducive to appropriate pet separation and management, especially away from those who desire to not be around pets. All cabins are pet free. Bringing a pet will result in immediate cancellation at full charge.
In most cases cleaning is included as a part of rate; however, a small cleaning charge may be applied with max occupancy rentals and group rentals, from $25 - $100 per cabin, depending on size of the cabin and occupancy as long as min. nights are met. Cleaning charges waived for any cabins renting full day watercraft, as a special discount.
Renter is asked to leave cabin in good condition with dishes cleaned & put away and garbage removed upon departure. We reserve the right to apply a basic cleaning charge after departure if these basic requests are not met and cabin is left in irresponsible condition. We provide dish washing detergent, kitchen linens, garbage bags, brooms and vacuums for use during your stay. /span>
Please report any maintenance concerns or damage to the office immediately during your stay so we address quickly, helping you enjoy your full stay. Renter will be responsible for property damage outside of normal wear and tear, especially if appliances and furniture are damaged due to renter misuse.
No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes use or open flame candles inside any cabin - NO EXCEPTIONS. Our cabins are unique, historic pinewood and this is for the health and safety of ALL guests on property. No curry cooking or scented oil candles and incense. All fish frying and cleaning must be handled outside of cabin (fish cleaning station at the dock and cast iron skillets are provided for each grill). Evidence of breaking these policy will result in a $300 fine for special cleaning of wood, upholstery and curtains and possibly property removal, without the opportunity to return in the future. Please store boat fuel and use/store portable grills and smokers 10 feet from cabins for safety.
As a uniquely small resort, 90% of our reservations are made 6 months in advance. Once a specific unit is reserved for specific dates, it becomes unavailable to others. While wait list are kept for cancellations, early as possible notifications are appreciated. The following "Cancel by" dates are applied for each reservation based on the season period reserved:
- Off Season - 30 days prior to reserved arrival
- Mid-Season - 45 days prior to reserved arrival
- In Season & Peak - 60-90 days prior to reserved arrival (see reservation confirmation)

If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of a reservation of BEFORE the "Cancel by" window, deposit/payment made will be refunded minus a 5% of deposit/payment process fee.
If canceling any and all days AFTER the "Cancel by" window, the deposit/payment made is held to be applied to any UNFILLED dates. A refund will be provided if there is a credit left after dates of the reservation are re-filled, minus the 5% process fee of deposit/payment made. If NO dates are filled, we reserve the right to charge any balance remaining, or require it paid before a new reservation.
We understand emergencies happen. If unforeseen hospitalization requires you to cancel under the "Cancel by" window in Off & Mid-Season (proof may be requested), and days are not refilled, you may choose to forfeit a deposit and move/rebook the balance due into a reservation later in the same year with a new deposit. This applies only to Off and Mid Season stays. (Holidays, In Season and Peak Seasons, normal cancellation policy will apply due to the advance vacation planning with 4+ nights required.)
For special events and tournament events, different cancellation and payment windows may apply and will be shared at reservation. There are no refunds for bad weather, including Acts of God and lake flooding, if the cabin/resort is open and the resort is operational.
No refunds can be given for late arrivals or for early departures. We make every effort to promote and fill all cancellations.
On-Site Payments & Rentals
Balance of payment due at check in for stays under 4 days or by 3 PM at the resort office THE DAY PRIOR to departure for guests reserving 4+ nights or renting watercraft. Any unpaid balance will be applied to the credit card on file by 5 pm the day before checkout. Boat rentals require deposit for each day reserved, applied to rental if returned "Full" with fuel, and refundable if cancelled within 48 hours or if resort cancel due to weather/operation. For payments over $2,000 a 2% of balance process fee will apply for all credit card payments. Checks accepted for deposits and 7-day returning stays only with valid credit card on file.
A paid deposit/payment for your confirmed reservation indicates agreement to these resort policies. Thank you for taking the time to review these policies.
